The Patriot News – Harrisburg’s esteemed source of news in the Midstate- quietly raised their prices today.

Monday thru Saturday appear to now cost a whopping seventy five cents.

The Sunday rag will now set you back two bucks.

(I think I might have mentioned this before)

I have it on good account that the cost of a weekday copy of the Patriot News will soon cost seventy five cents.

The cost of a Sunday Patriot News will cost two bucks.

And the PennLive forums now feature advertisements.

In additional Patriot News-news, my sources also tell me that the layout is going to change considerably- scaling back the size and thickness of each issue.

Which leads me to wonder- why charge more when offering less and less each day?
