What do you think finally pushed them over the line?

Bummer man. I am most disappointed with the poor proof-reading on PennLive. And most of the time their articles only contain half of the information if you’re lucky. Most people end up asking more questions.

Now the real question is, who banned you?

At least you can now say, “I’ve been kicked out of better places than this,” and you have a story to tell about it.

I tried to warn ya Mike!. They banned me,last week for having the nerve to start a topic asking why they delete some non offensive posts on Pennlive.
Seems it’s taboo to question policy. I see most of the black & white racists are still spouting off their trash,over there.
The Patriot was just using our comments and observations for leads for news stories to sell more papers.
I’m sure the lurking city council members and wannabe politicos used our posts to garner support by championing causes we
showed concern about in our posts.
I’m glad to take a break from the tripe that has filled that site with the pending elections.

Maybe he’s the moderator of Pennlive, now.

Do you have an idea of why? I didn’t see any questionable, gray-area posts.

Just another voice of reason, lost amongst all the rhetoric. Though I doubt the actually took the time to IP ban you. And since it really isn’t even a forum to begin with. It is more like a bored God with an ant farm, burning us every so often with it’s magnifying glass just for shits and giggles.

I despise those that will not hear all sides of an issue. Sometimes, well most times, going there and leaving comments and trying to have an actual discussion is like arguing with a carrot.

I am boycotting Pennlive now. Here is my conspiracy theory: all those people on Pennlive spewing racist garbage and stirring the pot are the Pennlive Moderators themselves! How else would they still have accounts and you don’t? You didn’t even say anything offensive.

That’s exactly my point Laura. It isn’t a real forum. If it were a REAL forum, the members would know whom the MODS were and would be given fair warning of bad behavior but alas this is not the case at PennLive. The age of so called “user generated” content is upon us and it is not pretty.

Oddly enough, they never delete my blogs. Maybe I should pen one about PennLive . . .

Guys, bear in mind the Patriot-News has really no control over Pennlive.com. They are separate entities, and Pennlive.com just has a contract with P-N to share content. Pennlive’s issues are massive, but unfortunately we can’t blame this one on the P-N.

That said, Mike I’ll gladly help you obtain proxy IPs if you care to continue to post. There are hundreds of thousands of proxies to use, and they’ll never be able to stop them. You know where to reach me …

At least least Jersey’s website and Roxbury NEWS, isn’t full of pop-up crap shit ads and spy-ware. They actually have worthwhile information posted that seems to go unnoticed my P-N.

Tell us what you did, so we can do it too.

There is a (another) thread started about it & I posted with a header using your name & then asking the mods for specifics of why you were banned & questioning their motives…and I called Reed a crook. Maybe now I can be banned too!! And as mentioned, it’s not a real forum anyway. I’ve not seen so much random banning & deleting in a forum before.
