New Jersey Councilman Steven Lipski has been arrested for urinating on a crowd of concert goers at Washington’s 9:30 club Saturday night, the New York Daily News reports.
The New York Daily News reports in Sunday’s editions that two-term Jersey City councilman Steve Lipski has been charged with simple assault.

The incident is the second booze-linked black eye notched by Jersey City pols in two years.
Mayor Jerramiah Healy was arrested and pepper-sprayed outside a Jersey Shore night club in the summer of 2006 after tussling with local cops.
“It’s embarrassing for the city,” said Jersey City Councilman Steven Fulop. “If you are invested in the city or are considering it, it sends the wrong message.”

“The lurid incident marks the second time in recent years that a Jersey City pol was caught with his pants down.
Photos showing Jerramiah Healy, still a councilman at the time, naked and passed out on his front stoop were widely circulated in 2004 days before he was elected mayor.”
um… ick.
9:30 club is a popular place… haven’t made it there yet. Oddly this isn’t quite an incentive.
