Wow! It’s been a few weeks since I read your article, but I’m pretty sure that as a server, I would remember you having taken a stance against our kind. Though I can’t totally disagree with her comment of “Your an asshole,” I can say that your column wasn’t a pointed attack against servers, but merely an attack on stupid employees.
If you choose to be a waiter or waitress, and have a shitty attitude towards customers, then get another job in another field, or hey, get out of customer service…
I’ve tipped pennies before – and Im sure I’ll do it again.
Its not MY fault you, as a server, hate your job, or are having a bad day. If you arent getting paid enough- then move to a place where you get paid more…
Man, some people just constantly bitch about how “Unfair” life is… People, believe it or not you make your fate- be positive and positive things will happen…
Sheeesh.
and Mike, although may occasionally come off as an asshole, but, believe – you – me; he’s actually a very decent human being!
