Haven’t seen this posted anywhere, but it looks as if the nightclub/bar days of Mars/Second Street Saloon/Smalls/Mars has finally come to a quiet end.
Drove past the building yesterday and saw a sign proclaiming the arrival of a Sneaker Villa.
Another one bites the dust.
I saw the signs, but I just assumed it was some kind of promotional tie in.
Nobody — NOBODY — saw this one coming.
Sneaker Villa is a retail store specializing in urban fashion.
Reed always said that development along 2nd Street would lead to more retail.
Surprised Mars failed? No.
Surprised it’s a retail shop? Yes.
Curious – why is there an application for alcoholic beverages posted on-site?
I’m pretty sure they need to post that whenever there’s going to be a transfer -
