Linda Thompson’s City Council
Huzzah!
“just like that”, a new voice of Harrisburg City Council emerged today.
Nominated by Wanda Williams and seconded by Patty Kim with supporting votes from Kim, Williams, Linda Thompson and (the new decider) Brad Koplinski, Linda Thompson was elected city council president in today’s Harrisburg City Council Reorganization Meeting.
Following Thompsons’ appointment was a unanimous vote for Daniel C Miller for City Council Vice President.
Strong showing of local politicos and dignitaries at the meeting today. The likes of Mayor Reed, his henchman Matt Coulter, City TaxMan Steve Ketterer, Kia Hansard, Bill Cluck, Calobe Jackson, Bruce Barnes (Milt Lopus Associates), City Engineer Joe Link, Les Ford and a nice assortment of characters from the Fourth Estate all came out to witness the changing of the guard.
