Hi-
Me again.
Yes, I know. It’s been awhile.
But fret not, there shall be plenty to yammer about soon enough.
For now, though- I need your help.
Have you, or someone you know, been a victim of a crime or other unfortunate sequence of events that can be directly (or indirectly) blamed back on a lack of services within our city?
- For example-
- Did your car get stuck in the snow somewhere in the city and then caused you to be late for an appointment? Or worse yet- caused damages to your car which required repair?
- Have you or someone you know been the victim of an crime like a mugging or burglary while out on the town?
- Have you witnessed blatantly illegal or immoral activity somewhere within the city that goes unpunished?
- Perhaps your band was in town to play a gig and you got mugged of your payment money while enjoying a warm, summer night outside the venue.
- Maybe you went to get a pack of smokes at the gas station and were held at gunpoint for no apparent reason.
If so, please email me your story- it doesn’t have to be long. Just the facts, ma’am.
All submissions will remain anonymous.
What will they be used for?
Sort of a highlight reel of examples of ‘taxation without representation’ happening daily in our city.
Thank you, in advance, for your help.

Last Winter when the City Truck came by to plow Magnolia Dr. They plowed my drainage pipe and moved it our of the ground.
Did they cover the repair? Or did you have to pay for it?
Some inconsiderate jerk in a red saab drove down Penn Street way too fast on trick or treat night. It had a “Rnd Table” license plate, so I’m guessing it was either you, or King Arthur slumming.
I realize you got to get to wherever it is you go, but seriously, there are lots of families in midtown with kids, and you should slow down on these residential streets.
I think it was King Arthur.
You’re funny, if you’re serious.
Even funnier if you’re joking.
Im on my way home from work at 600 am on Valentines Day when we had that snowstorm and made it all the way home with no problem untill I attempted to turn the corner off of 20th onto Briggs Street and got stuck. I get out and try to push my car to avail when along comes a city plow truck that proceeds to plow my car in as I’m trying to free it. My car was partially blocking 20th street all day myself and a couple of neighbors dug it out and pushed it free. As I cleaned the snow off of the vehicle wouldn’t you know I found one of those notourious green envelopes buried under it. A city plow truck plows me in on purpose and I get a ticket. The snowplow operator saw me trying to free my vehicle and he made my predicament worse……..and my friends wonder why I hate Harrisburg…..all the little things add up.Almost sorry I moved here sometimes………………….
