In case you haven’t noticed, I haven’t updated the Roundtable Presents site in quite some time.

Partially, because Roundtable Presents isn’t exactly what it began as- and has been in something of a state of flux for the past several months-

But more so- because my good buddies down at City Hall have been steadfast in folding their arms and holding their proverbial breath when it comes to negotiating with me on the super-duper Amusement Tax Issue.

I’ve been meaning to completely dismantle the site and have it become a main location for information pertaining to my fight with the City to get the tax reformed-

But all things in time-

So for now, I’ve been using this space to promote my shows.

Because ultimately, if the City doesn’t want to encourage Roundtable Presents and other independent promoters, we’ll simply take our business elsewhere.

*Spoiler* Watch this space for some big news before the end of the year about some worthwhile events coming up in YORK- is it a bigger venue? Is it all ages? Is it merely twenty five minutes down I-83?

If you guessed “Yes” to all three of those questions…then you’re right!

But for now, “a guy’s gotta eat”- so come see some music.

Indie at The Abbey has ironed out the kinks and is on a smooth course or rock- have you been to a night yet? Every Wednesday at The Abbey Bar at Appalachian Brewing Company we, along with 717 Tattoo, WIAB Records and Instrumental Analysis host two nationally touring indie-rock bands. And I can wholeheartedly say that every single band that has played a slot for the past month has been nothing short of absolutely KICK ASS. Two bucks gets you in the door and all of the massive selection of Belgian beers is featured for “$2 off”- I hate to sound cliche, but seriously- come see what you’ve been missing.
