When parked anywhere in Harrisburg, why is it that the first thing I look at when returning to my vehicle is my windshield to see if there’s a parking ticket?

While driving Front Street in Harrisburg, why can’t people use the middle and right hand lanes unless they’re going to be turning within two or three blocks?

On the subject of Front Street- why don’t the “one way” streets alternate directions block after block? It seems like we have more do-not-enter streets than necessary…

Why doesn’t the Mayor attend city council meetings?

Is it true that people go to Lancaster for culture and to Harrisburg to get drunk?

Why isn’t the Broad Street Market open at least six days per week?

Why do we have to struggle and beg to keep the Midtown Cinema open?

Why does the city insist on suffocating an industry by keeping the Amusement Tax in place?

Considering that Harrisburg’s City Hall is the last “smoking” government building in the country; why aren’t there ashtrays in front of it?

The street sweeping days- do those street sweepers really keep our streets clean? Or is it just a means to justify more parking tickets?

Why does the city charge one hundred dollars to reconnect water service in a home? (Cingular only charges $35)

Why isn’t there better mass transit in the city?

On the subject of mass transit- why don’t we have bike lanes on at least 2nd and 3rd streets?

Why does the Patriot News still employ telemarketers? Does that even work anymore? Has anyone ever bought a newspaper subscription over the phone?

How is it possible that the Hardware Bar can promote events like “Girls Gone Wild” and “Bitch Slapping Contests” without more public revolt?

Why is it that there are three trash cans between Muench and Dauphin on Penn Street yet one may travel three or four blocks on 2nd Street without seeing a single receptacle?

Does anyone really care about The Senators?

Do you think we’ve over done it with all of these gridlock-causing street fairs every summer?

Why don’t our police have new cruisers and better radio equipment?

And finally- will our streets get plowed when it snows this winter?
