Today’s editorial goes through the numbers of the financially and physically failing incinerator on Cameron Street-

While the first 75% of the piece shed some light that isn’t normally shone on the issue by the blatantly biased paper; it’s the last paragraph that leaves this writer befuddled again-

The longer council takes to make this decision, the longer it will take to accomplish, and the more the debt will pile up.

STOP BLAMING COUNCIL!

This city council DID NOT put the city in the financial state in which it currently resides.

Having personally attended over thirty city council meetings and hearings in the past year, what I can see is a council that is genuinely trying to get us out of this mess- but all that council may do is vote on what’s presented to them.

If I were on that council I wouldn’t accept any additional pomp and circumstance from the three amigos on The Harrisburg Authority.

The Patriot News, instead of continuing to side with Mayor Reed and The Harrisburg Authority, needs to WAKE UP and begin reporting the news without bias or prejudice.

Please, Harrisburg, for all of our own good-
