I bought a Longboard last week.

Actually, 31 Flavors and I both got one.

I got the 46 inch Red Flame City Surf from SkatesOnHaight and Sara with an H got the 41 inch pintail that I can’t seem to find a link for.

Back in the day, I used to ride a skateboard. Probably sixteen or fifteen years old I was.

And it was fun.

But I must say- my new longboard may quite very well be my new favorite hobby.

Not only is it a quick and healthy way of getting around town on those short trips downtown to a Council meeting or to hang some posters, but it’s a great way to save those high-burning local gas miles.

I literally just got it today- but we spent a couple hours just cruising Penn and Green Streets- along with a nice ride down the river on Front- and I must say, I’m quite excited about my new hobby/transportation method.
