JerseyMike.org hit a milestone today.

July is the first month that we officially hit ten thousand unique visitors- which in the big scheme of things, isn’t much- but it means a lot to me.

You see, I didn’t start this site for anything other than an alternative to quitting MySpace.

Plus, I like to write. It’s an outlet- and I oftentimes bore people in person with my socio-political views and rants.

Although I still bore people in person with my convoluted views and opinions, this is a much safer and easier method to express what travels through my twisted little angst ridden mind.

I think it may be some sort of blogging faux-pas to tout ones traffic, but I had sort of a shitty day- and needed to be my own favorite narcissist for a hot minute and write about where things are at in my corner of the world.

So I must say ‘thank you’ for reading. I know a few of you personally- but I’m gonna guess that I wouldn’t know most of you if you came up and punched me in the eye. (Not that I want you to come up and punch me in the eye- I’d much rather you buy me a beer)

I also wanted to point out that you won’t see advertising here any time soon. Not even those goofy Google Ads. I believe that if you want to purchase something, you can easily find it without the assistance of a targeted ad within my pages.

You will, however, find a plug from time to time. Sometimes it’ll be a project I’m working on- other times a show- and even OTHER times it may just be a pretty cool place, person or thing that I dig.

That and Tee Shirts.

That’s right. I’m gonna start selling tee shirts here. Hopefully as soon as next week you’ll have your chance to pick up your very own piece of me- for a mere twelve to fifteen bucks. But only if you want it.
