Sopranos Finale
Well, it’s done.
After eight years and eighty-some-odd episodes, Tony, Carm, Meadow and AJ- are eating dinner at the diner.
Or did the guy that went into the bathroom come out and shoot Tony just as Meadow joined them?
Or was it the gangster-guys that walked in just after the guy went to the bathroom?
Either way- I’m perfectly happy with the ending.
In my opinion, I don’t think there’s ANY other way Chase could have ended the series.
Because no matter HOW it ended- there would still be a divide. Had Tony gotten taken out, millions of fans would have screamed “How could they DO this?!” -
So now we have a two sided coin- one side (which includes this writer) is perfectly happy with the finale. And the other side is up in arms- calling Chase an “egomaniac” and “sellout” -
I give it six months before the official movie announcement-

I thought my goddam cable blinked out on me at the end, and let me tell ya— I yelled my face off…. Then realized that, indeed thats how the s.o.b ended it.
Man… I dont know. Something COULD have happend. I mean, dont you think its kind of a slight to the long time fans of the show for that to “just be it”?
I do, however, agree that this episode left the door WIDE open for a movie, I mean, this is a Fictional Story we are talking about here, it deserves some sort of ending. Though if a movie were to come out of it, they’d have to bring back a bunch of people from the dead.
Oh, and what the hell was the deal with that cat and Chrissys picture on the wall?
My final thought; that shit was all over the place, it really had no one theme- that I could pick up on (cough cough), and that shit with A.J and the girl was a stupid thing to waste time with during the last episode.
p.s. If they needed to focus on one of the kids – why didnt he go more into Meadow and Patsy Jrs story ~ That would have been a bit more interesting.
Plus, Meadow is so much hotter than AJ.
