Once again, Luciew is a day late and a buck short on getting the word out to the people-
Even TAKING Karn’s Quality’s PL Forum post which later became my headline from a post last week titled “Mount Midtown”- the Patriot FINALLY ran something this morning about the monstrosity now parked in the lot at Reily and Green Street.
Hold steady, Harrisburg- the new media is on it’s way.

Aw come on, jersey, fess up. You got that name from my pennlive forums post!
Noted and corrected.
You da man, Josh-
(I need your email addy, btw)
cool! there was not really a need for a correction, as I don’t own the name Mount Midtown (TM) or anything, but you did break a pet peeve of mine in the correction. There’s no apostrophe in my last name. Its cool though. I’ll forgive you this time.
ps–I’ll get you my email soon, but you can probably figure it out buy putting my first name followed by the @ symbol and then adding my url.
Huh, it must have been a slow newsday for the P-News to run the Mount Midtown thing. I personally think the whole thing is just one more step in the staircase that is taking HBG from needing improvement to spectacularly crappy.
Copied from my post on the Karn’s blog:
One thing that confuses me about your views on Mount Midtown – how is it poor construction planning? There has never been a construction site of this magnitude that hasn’t needed to put topsoil somewhere, where else could it have gone? It isn’t the inherently wasteful state government that is undertaking this project, it is a private company – Powers and Associates. The land that the topsoil currently occupies happens to be other land in Midtown that is owned by Powers, so that is where it went. And with all the improvement that is coming to the area, is it too much to ask to put up with some dirt for a few weeks?
