More dismal city-debt news in the form of an incinerator update tonight.
Covanta Energy, contracted at $10.5 million per year to operate the enormous money pit of an “investment” is now demanding the city and county add twenty eight million dollars in guaranteed funds to an existing two hundred million-plus dollar debtload.
(It seems like this incinerator is only good at burning one thing…and it ain’t trash)
The Harrisburg Authority (the same people that brought on the bleeding-stuck-pig of a school system) seems to be doing ZERO good for the people of this city.
What are we going to do to change that?
