The first time I met Lyndi we were gearing up for a remote broadcast we were teamed up for while working promotions at 105.7 The X-
We connected, almost immediately, and had one of those great relationships that didn’t require much maintenance.
We’d hang out from time to time- and yeah, I’m pretty sure we partied. I really don’t remember-
She was working her way through the ranks in promotions and we’d critique each others’ demo tapes we’d make after hours while trying to get a slot on the air-
Four years skipped by- and after I left The X, we didn’t so much part ways as we just traveled down our respective paths.
I hadn’t spoke with or seen Lyndi in probably six months- the last time we crossed paths was at a show, probably at ABC-
She wasn’t my best friend-but she was a good friend.
And she’ll be missed.
Incredibly.
There’s a benefit happening this Saturday April 7 at the West Shore Hardware Bar- it’s noon until six-and I’m pretty sure it’s all ages.

Hey Mike, don’t know if you remember me or not. I was close with Lyndi, I actually was at your house once or twice. I was just browsing through my youtube and noticed you had linked to my video on your blog, and I wanted to say thanks. It meant alot to me to actually create the video, it helped me through the grieving process. it was as if she was here with me the whole time screaming “YEAH DUDE!”
anywho, your words echo. the show unfortunately is not all ages, I just found that out today. so I can’t get in, as I just had my 20th birthday on March 15th.
thanks again. later days, dude.
Hey Dawn-
I do remember you coming by the house I think-
It’s a shame that you won’t be able to get into the show tomorrow- and it seems kind of silly to have an event like that at a place like that for a girl who was how old? 23? 24?
Word has it, though, that there will possibly be another-more intimate and all ages benefit show happening.
Which you’ll likely hear about here.
If you know what I’m saying.
Peace-
